Aerospace Engineers Private Limited (AEPL) delivered the first set of components for Gaganyaan, on 12th July, marking a major milestone in AEPL’s partnership with ISRO.
Gaganyaan, ISRO’s ambitious project aims to showcase human spaceflight by sending a crew to orbit 400 km above Earth for a three-day mission, concluding with a safe splashdown in Indian waters. Prioritizing human safety, the mission is pioneering new engineering and human-centric technologies. Prior to the manned mission, a series of critical precursor missions are planned to validate the readiness of the technologies involved. These include Integrated Air Drop Tests (IADT), Pad Abort Tests (PAT), and Test Vehicle (TV) flights. These missions will validate the Technology Preparedness Levels (TPLs) necessary for a successful human spaceflight.
