Lockheed Martin Appoints Dr Dennis Goege as Vice President and Chief Executive for Europe

Lockheed Martin has announced the appointment of Dr Dennis Goege as vice president and chief executive for Europe, effective October 1. He succeeds Jonathan Hoyle CBE, who will retire after a distinguished career. Goege will report to Ray Piselli, vice president of International Business.

Since joining Lockheed Martin from the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in 2020, Goege has provided strategic oversight and leadership, driving rapid business growth across air, land, naval, and space sectors in central and eastern Europe. He has also played a key role in developing and sustaining partnerships with industry and academia.

“Dennis is an accomplished and experienced leader in the defence and security sector. His visionary approach, strategic mindset, and passion for excellence will ensure the continuation of our growth in Europe, where Lockheed Martin has been a strategic partner for the defence and security of NATO and its allies for more than 75 years,” said Ray Piselli.

As Goege steps into his new role, Emanuele Serafini, based in Rome, will become vice president and regional executive for western Europe, also effective October 1. Serafini joined Lockheed Martin in 2018 and previously served as director and regional lead for southern Europe.

Additionally, Paul Livingston, vice president and chief executive of Lockheed Martin UK, will expand his responsibilities to include oversight of NATO engagements, providing focused senior direction for the company’s ongoing interactions with NATO stakeholders.
