INS Shardul wrapped up its visit to Port Rashid, Dubai, on October 16, marking a significant milestone in enhancing maritime cooperation between India and the UAE. The visit included a series of key engagements aimed at fostering collaboration and mutual understanding.
During its stay, the crew of INS Shardul interacted with the UAE Navy, participated in cross-training visits, and conducted community outreach activities. Sea trainees from INS Shardul visited the Naval Officers Training Academy and the UAE Naval Ship, facilitating professional exchanges and discussions on shared knowledge and training practices. The visit also featured joint training sessions, yoga activities, and friendly sports events, further strengthening camaraderie between the two navies.
A formal reception onboard INS Shardul welcomed personnel from the UAE Navy, diplomats, and distinguished members of the Indian community, underscoring the warm relations between the two nations.
Upon departure from Dubai, INS Shardul engaged in a Maritime Partnership Exercise with the UAE Naval ship Al Quwaisat. This exercise involved a series of naval manoeuvres, communication drills, and coordinated movements, showcasing mutual coordination and interoperability.
