Milipol Qatar 2024 Launches in Doha

Milipol Qatar 2024 has commenced at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, showcasing its status as a leading security exhibition. On the second day, the event offers an exciting array of conferences and seminars aimed at strengthening homeland security. The exhibition continues to draw considerable participation from industry leaders and government officials, highlighting its importance in the security landscape.

The day’s conference, titled “AI Serving Homeland Security,” addresses the role of Artificial Intelligence in security. It features three key sessions that delve into the ethics of AI, its applications in security operations, and the opportunities and challenges it presents in the security landscape. These discussions aim to foster a deeper understanding of how AI can be effectively integrated into security strategies.

In parallel, the seminar programme tackles vital topics in civil defence, including new technical requirements guide, guidelines for the safe storage and handling of hazardous chemicals, and the requirements for buildings and historical facilities. Additionally, an overview of GCC civil defence mapping initiatives focused on fire safety infrastructure will be presented.

With over 250 exhibitors participating, Milipol Qatar 2024 showcases a diverse range of companies offering cutting-edge solutions in security and safety. Notable exhibitors include Airbus Helicopters, Arquus, Thales, John Cockerill Defense, Jordan National K9 Centre, KTC, L3Harris, Leonardo, Marell Boats AB, Milton, Moseco Technology, and Motorola Solutions among many others. Attendees are encouraged to explore the booths to discover innovative technologies and products designed to enhance security operations.

The event kicked off with an official opening ceremony led by HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), alongside various international ministers of interior.

As the exhibition continues, organizers invite attendees to engage with exhibitors and participate in the informative sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation within the security sector. Milipol Qatar 2024 is set to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities for professionals dedicated to advancing security measures and technologies.
