Registration Open for 40th ISRSE

Tickets for the 40th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment (ISRSE-40) are now on sale. The event will take place at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Hampshire, UK, from March 17 to 21, 2025. This global summit will bring together leading experts to share vital knowledge aimed at protecting the planet and its inhabitants.

ISRSE-40 will feature participation from multiple international agencies, including ESA and NASA, as well as prominent scientists, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals committed to advancing remote sensing technologies and Earth observation data analysis.

Simonetta Cheli, Director of ESA Earth Observation Programmes and Head of ESRIN in Italy, noted, “ISRSE is a valuable platform for enhancing the science relevance and excellence of ESA Earth Observation missions. We look forward to an engaging event in the UK that will facilitate exchanges between industry experts and academia.”

The theme of this year’s symposium, “Synergy in Sight: Harnessing Earth Observation for Sustainable Development,” will highlight the integration of scientific and technological disciplines to support the Sustainable Development Goals. Key focus areas will include Climate Change and Environmental Monitoring, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Resilient Urban and Infrastructure Systems, Innovative EO Technologies, Sustainable Resource Management, Carbon Sequestration, Renewable Energy, and Cross-Sectoral Collaboration.

Organized by the International Committee for Remote Sensing of Environment (ICORSE), Farnborough International, Space South Central, and the National Centre for Earth Observation, ISRSE-40 will run concurrently with the Farnborough International Space Show 2025. This collaboration aims to unite key stakeholders in the international space community, fostering innovation across remote sensing, Earth observation, and broader space applications.

The Farnborough International Space Show is the UK’s largest event dedicated to commercial space advancements and space domain defence, serving as a catalyst for future innovations and connections among industry, defence, government, and academia on a global scale.
