HAVELSAN Delivers First Civil Aviation Simulator to India

 HAVELSAN, a leading Turkish technology company renowned for its expertise in developing large-scale military flight simulators, has announced a major milestone in its expansion into the civil aviation sector. Under a new agreement with France-based SIMAERO, HAVELSAN will deliver its first A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) to a flight training centre in India. The contract, finalized on October 29, marks the company’s first international export in the civil aviation simulator market.

This achievement not only highlights HAVELSAN’s growing presence in the global aviation sector but also strengthens trade relations between Turkey and India, a rapidly expanding market for aviation. With this agreement, HAVELSAN is poised to make a significant contribution to India’s aviation infrastructure, which is among the fastest growing in the world.

Setting New Standards in Aviation Training

Our simulators are utilized by leading airlines and training centers, including Turkish Airlines (THY). The A320 FFS is designed to meet the highest industry standards, incorporating EASA Level D certification, AI-driven capabilities, and advanced technologies such as Mixed Reality (MR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR). These features ensure a highly realistic and efficient training environment for pilots, setting a new benchmark in aviation training.

The agreement with SIMAERO marks a significant milestone for HAVELSAN’s global expansion strategy. The contract was signed by HAVELSAN’s CEO, Mr. Mehmet Akif Nacar, and SIMAERO India’s General Manager, Mr. Kushbeg Jattana, reinforcing a strong partnership between the two organizations.
