Embraer, a global leader in the aerospace industry, will showcase its portfolio of defense aircraft and solutions at LAAD Defence & Security 2025, the largest and most important defense exhibition in Latin America. The event, now in its 15th edition, will take place at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, April 01-04.

“We are honoured to participate in LAAD 2025 to promote our state-of-the-art portfolio and our comprehensive solutions for air, land, sea, space, and cyber, as well strengthen relationships with our customers and partners from around the world,” said Bosco da Costa Junior, President & CEO of Embraer Defense & Security.

With over 290 orders from 20 Air Forces and more than 580,000 flight hours, including 60,000 in combat, the A-29 Super Tucano is the global leader in its category. This advanced aircraft provides outstanding operational efficiency and a wide range of missions such as close air support, air patrol, special operations, air interdiction, JTAC, forward air controller (FAC), air and tactical coordinator (TAC), Armed ISR, border surveillance, reconnaissance, air escort, basic, operational and advanced training, transition to air superiority fighters, JTAC/LIFT and FAC training.

In 2024, Embraer announced new sales of the Super Tucano to the Portuguese Air Force (A-29N), the NATO version of the aircraft, as well as to the Uruguayan Air Force, the Paraguayan Air Force and two additional undisclosed customers.
