Leading the Way in Armoured Vehicles: FNSS at FEINDEF 2025

Continuing its legacy of innovation and battlefield-proven performance, FNSS is set to make its debut at FEINDEF 2025, the International Defence and Security Exhibition of Spain, held from 12–14 May 2025 in Madrid.

At Hall 6, Stand 8C21B, FNSS will showcase two key developments: the PARS III 6×6 Wheeled Armoured Vehicle and the conceptual design of the PARS ALPHA 6×6 Fire Support and RECCE Vehicle, equipped with the Cockerill® Series 3000 30mm manned turret.

Both FNSS and JCD offer military off the shelf (MOTS), qualified battle proven, mobile armoured vehicles and 30mm manned turrets. The PARS vehicle family has become a reference for tactical wheeled armoured vehicles today with its unique features of 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 vehicles that incorporate today’s most advanced technologies and the operational advantages.

FNSS was successful in exporting 6×6 PARS product family in various configurations to the Royal Army of Oman. Today with both PARS IV, PARS SCOUT and finally PARS ALPHA 6×6, FNSS has also become the only supplier to the Turkish Armed Forces for 6×6 armoured family of vehicle. PARS ALPHA 6×6, is the latest choice of Turkish Land Forces in 6×6 class with the New Generation Vehicles Program. For FEINDEF, PARS ALPHA 6×6 conceptual design will be showcased with Cockerill 3030, two-man turret. This configuration is aimed to provide e the cavalry with a fire support and/or reconnaissance capabilities. The vehicle will carry 6 personnel consisting of commander, driver, gunner and 3 dismounts.

PARS ALPHA 6X6 THE NEW GENERATION ARMOURED FIGHTING VEHICLE

FNSS PARS ALPHA 6×6 is the latest derivative of the PARS ALPHA 8×8. In scope of the Turkish Land Forces (TLF) New Generation Armoured Fighting Vehicle Program, FNSS PARS ALPHA 6×6 will be in service in 2 different variants. The FNSS PARS ALPHA prototype was able to successfully emerge from an intensive competition environment.

The program was awarded after comprehensive field tests carried out by TLF and MoD. Within the scope of this contract, FNSS will continue to remain as sole source supplier of 6×6 armoured vehicles for the Turkish Armed Forces. Following PARS SCOUT 6×6 and PARS IV S-OPS 6×6 programs, FNSS PARS ALPHA 6×6 New Generation Armoured Vehicles will be the most advanced vehicle within the inventory.

Built for full-spectrum dominance, it aims to represent the future of military engagement, by meeting the most challenging mission objectives to fulfil tactical and superior combat performance.

All-Terrain Mobility

Through any weather condition, its innovative 6×6 all-wheel-drive, ride-height control with front and rear-axle steering system offers advanced mobility. The hydro-pneumatic suspension with adjustable ride height enables persistent cross-country agility, enhanced by a turning radius optimized for confined urban warfare. The vehicle offers advanced capabilities to cross 40% side slopes, 70% gradients, 1.5-meter trenches and 0.80-meter vertical obstacles.

PARS ALPHA 6×6 will be the vehicle of choice for future rapid deployment forces worldwide with an ability to achieve over 115 km per hour road speed. Due to its powerpack and advanced suspension system, lowering the vehicle’s height for best road stability at high speeds is an added feature. Its design ensures sustained vehicle mobility even with tire and/or wheel loss, keeping missions on track. An impressive operational range of over 800 km sets this vehicle apart, allowing for extensive deployment without need of refuelling.

Best in Class Survivability

This next-gen 6×6 brings revolutionized protection systems offering unrivalled resistance to mines, IEDs, KE threats and artillery projectiles. Mine blast attenuation seats, and positioning the driver and commander behind the power pack compartment and first axle reinforces crew safety against very high-level of threats from all around the vehicle. This design approach provides unique KE ballistic protection especially at the vehicle frontal arc. Its hydro-pneumatic suspension system with adjustable ride height control can increase mine protection by surpassing a ground clearance of 60cm on demand. A gunshot detection system, laser warning, soft-kill and hard-kill active protection systems can also be integrated based on user requirements.

PARS ALPHA 6×6, incorporates positive pressure and face mask CBRN defence measures by providing a sealed environment within the vehicle. This feature prevents toxic contaminants, enabling crew members to survive and maintain combat efficiency even when the outside environment is hazardous and lethal.

Its adaptable structural design and vehicle silhouette enables best in class lower profile while maintaining an extensive internal volume with open architecture. These features ensure the crew and dismounts remain fortified against external threats, underlining its role as a new generation asset for modern warfare

Advanced Weapon Integration

The new generation PARS ALPHA 6×6 comprises the integration of advanced weapon systems. From remote controlled weapon stations (RCWS) to manned ad remote controlled turrets. Its modular architecture enables to use large spectrum of weapon suits with easy integration of turrets equipped with 20mm to 50mmautomatic canons and 90mm gun.

The PARS ALPHA conceptual design model will be showcased integrated with Cockerill 3030; the 30mm two-man turret of John Cockerill Defense exhibited at Feindef International Defence and Security Exhibition. This weapon system offers the appropriate solution for the increasing need of light-weight, high mobility and powerful systems for infantry support. It is fitted with a 30mm MK44S Bushmaster canon, which is already qualified and in operation in several armed forces.

Unique Situational Awareness & Superior Crew Coordination

Since the late Cold War era, front-side-engine 6×6 and 8×8 wheeled armoured combat vehicles have followed a common design approach. In this traditional design, the driver is isolated at the very front of the vehicle, adjacent to the engine compartment, while the commander is situated behind the driver. Both occupants typically experience a narrow field of view while driving with hatch down position.

PARS ALPHA 6×6 New Generation Armoured Fighting Vehicle features a revolutionized structural design by situating the crew and dismounts behind the power pack compartment. With its compact powerpack design, commander and driver are able to sit side-by-side. This new layout approach enables +180° real time optical situational awareness for both occupants.

It also enhances crew safety during long distance drives without opening top hatches at hostile territories. Subsequently it also ensures eye contact and improved coordination between the vehicle crew and the dismounts.

In addition to its unique optical field of view, the vehicle is equipped with displays and integrated 360- degree situational awareness cameras that provide both day and night vision for crew and dismounts.

Air Transportable with Strategic Operational Capability

The PARS ALPHA 8×8 is compliant to modern military logistics as being transportable on highways, railways and compatible with a fleet of strategic airlifters such as the A400M, C-17 Globemaster, C-5 Galaxy, An-124 and Il-76. With this level of airlift compatibility, the PARS ALPHA 6×6 is always at the vanguard, ready to establish dominance wherever the mission dictates.
