As part of the ongoing strategic cooperation, representatives of the Czech consortium led by PBS GROUP, including ONE3D and HiLASE Centre, visited the Lockheed Martin manufacturing plant in Fort Worth, Texas, where the F-35 fighter jet is manufactured.
The visit marks an important milestone in a multi-phase project focused on the development and qualification of advanced manufacturing processes for a selected F-35 component. During the visit, the consortium presented its latest results and, together with Lockheed Martin’s technical management, assessed the next steps in the project.
The cooperation is on track and continues to demonstrate the ability of the Czech industry to contribute to global defense supply chains through advanced technologies, including additive manufacturing, surface treatments and high-temperature processing of materials.
The project has been active since September 2024, when preparatory technical cooperation was already underway, while the formal agreement was signed in May 2024. It is being implemented in structured phases over several years and is supported by strategic investments in advanced infrastructure and specialized expertise.
The visit to Fort Worth is evidence of the deep cooperation between the consortium and Lockheed Martin and reflects the partners’ shared commitment to advancing innovation in defense manufacturing.
