HHV Advanced Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (HHVAT), a global leader in thin film technology, has invested in and become a strategic long-term partner of EON Space Labs, a Hyderabad-based deep-tech startup, specializing in imaging technologies. This is a part of a USD 1.2 million pre-Series A funding round, which also includes MGF Kavachh.
The investment will enable EON Space Labs to scale up manufacturing of its AI-driven electro-optical and infrared payloads, expand its engineering team, and support new product launches. The company is also on track to launch its first ultra-lightweight space telescope, MIRA, by the end of 2025.
HHVAT, founded in 1965, brings decades of expertise in developing advanced vacuum systems, thin-film technology, and precision optics for organizations including ISRO and DRDO, as well as for other international aerospace missions. This partnership will allow EON Space Labs to leverage HHVAT’s deep industry knowledge to accelerate product innovation and market growth.
EON Space Labs, founded in 2022 by Sanjay Kumar, Punit Badeka, and Manoj Kumar Gaddam designs miniaturised, high-resolution imaging systems for use in satellites, drones, aerial systems and fixed ground platforms.
