ROSOBORONEXPORT to Showcase Advanced Defence Solutions at Securex Uzbekistan 2024

JSC ROSOBORONEXPORT, part of the Rostec State Corporation, is set to display the latest offerings from Russian defence enterprises at the 15th Anniversary International Exhibition “Integrated Security – Securex Uzbekistan 2024.” This major event, Uzbekistan’s largest trade fair for general security and fire safety, will take place from November 5 to 7, 2024, at the Uzexpocentre in Tashkent.

“The partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan is strategic in nature; it promotes stability and peace in the Central Asian region,” said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of ROSOBORONEXPORT. “We are ready to assist Uzbekistan’s security agencies in upholding public and state security and are pleased to cooperate in this area. Taking part in the Securex Uzbekistan trade fair for the first time, ROSOBORONEXPORT will exhibit Russia’s latest products for military, special, and police units. The hardware and digital solutions we are putting on display can counter all modern security threats and challenges,” he added.

At the ROSOBORONEXPORT booth, attendees will discover cutting-edge Russian solutions across four key segments: weapons and equipment for ground forces and special units; civilian small arms and non-lethal systems for law enforcement agencies; special-purpose technical equipment; and digital security solutions.

Highlighted products will include the AK-100 and AK-200 series of Kalashnikov assault rifles, the AK-15 and AK-19 short-barreled rifles, the Lebedev pistol, as well as the PPK-20 and PP-2000 submachine guns. Notable sniper rifles, such as the Chukavin and VSSM, along with the large-caliber VKS and OSV-96, will also be featured.

ROSOBORONEXPORT will showcase a variety of optical devices designed to enhance the effectiveness of small arms, including collimator sights and thermal and night vision equipment, suitable for diverse operational tasks. Additionally, the company will present a combat equipment set called “Strelok,” which includes a bulletproof vest with a weight distribution system, ballistic protective modules, and a third-generation all-weather field uniform kit (VKPO 3.0).

For law enforcement and security units, ROSOBORONEXPORT will display non-lethal options such as electric shockers with a range of up to 4.5 meters, a magazine grenade launcher compatible with seven types of ammunition, and thermobaric devices.

The exhibition will also feature inspection equipment aimed at enhancing security at infrastructure sites, transport hubs, and crowded venues. This includes portable identifiers, gas analyzers, metal detectors, and non-linear locators for identifying communication equipment and explosive devices.

In the digital security segment, ROSOBORONEXPORT will showcase Russian solutions for web monitoring and comprehensive information security, including tools for document transport and emergency destruction of sensitive data. A secure SSD drive with a built-in data destruction system will also be highlighted.

During the exhibition, ROSOBORONEXPORT plans to hold meetings and discussions with partners from Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. In addition to defence products, experts will explore solutions in medicine, fire safety, disaster control, and management.
