Experia and OSTIn Launch First Space Summit@Singapore Airshow

Experia Events, organiser of the Singapore Airshow, one of the world’s most influential airshows, is taking the lead in launching a brand-new segment dedicated to the space industry. This new feature, titled Space Summit@Singapore Airshow, will be held from 2 – 3 February 2026, alongside the biennial Singapore Airshow, marking a key expansion of the show’s scope from air to the frontiers of space.

This strategic addition reflects the growing global momentum in the space economy, as well as Singapore’s own increasing investment and ambition in the domain. Launched in partnership with the Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn), Singapore’s national space office under the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the Space Summit@Singapore Airshow aims to bring together industry leaders, emerging players and government stakeholders to explore opportunities, foster partnerships and advance the regional and global space ecosystem.

This new platform advances Singapore’s recently unveiled initiatives to deepen its space capabilities, from strengthening local talent pipelines to catalysing research and development. OSTIn plays a vital role in driving these national strategies and is a key partner in the Space Summit@Singapore Airshow.

Space Summit@Singapore Airshow will feature curated conference tracks, a dedicated exhibition zone and business networking opportunities focused on satellite communications, launch technologies, space sustainability and other key developments shaping the industry.

“The addition of a space segment to the Singapore Airshow is a natural evolution that aligns with the expanding frontiers of the global aerospace industry and Singapore’s ambition to be a key node in the global space economy. By convening global and regional stakeholders in this fast-growing sector, we aim to accelerate innovation, investment and collaboration in space technologies.” said Mr Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director, Experia Events, organiser of Singapore Airshow.

“Space technologies are becoming increasingly integral to our economy – ranging from

enabling connectivity and navigation to climate monitoring and national security. The Space Summit@Singapore Airshow in 2026, provides a timely platform to spotlight Singapore’s capabilities in innovation and foster global partnerships across the space value chain,” said Jonathan Hung, Executive Director, Office for Space Technology & Industry, Singapore.  “We look forward to leveraging this new feature at Singapore Airshow 2026 to strengthen Singapore’s position as a trusted base for companies to develop, test and commercialise their solutions for the region and beyond.”

Experia will also partner with the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) (AAIS) to organise the Singapore Pavilion at the Space Summit. This will provide a high-visibility platform for Singapore-based companies to showcase their advanced space solutions and innovations to an international audience.

The collaboration builds upon the association’s established role in managing the Singapore Pavilion at Singapore Airshow since 2008. Together, the partners aim to align Singapore’s industry presence across sectors and deliver a harmonised, compelling representation of the nation’s commercial strengths on the global stage.

“Space holds tremendous potential as a frontier for limitless possibilities in innovation, technology and advancement. Venturing into this domain is a natural step for AAIS,” said Wong Yue Jeen, President of AAIS. “Aerospace companies are harnessing their capabilities to explore or expand their presence in the rapidly evolving space industry. With Singapore’s space sector gaining momentum, our goal is to strengthen the ecosystem and enhance the value chain.”
