We are proud to announce that MKU Limited has been awarded a contract to supply NIJ Level IIIA ballistic vests to Estonia’s State Support Service Center. These vests will be deployed across 11 healthcare institutions, including the North Estonia Regional Hospital Foundation, Tallinn Children’s Hospital Foundation, South Estonia Hospital, Narva Hospital Foundation, and several others.
As the recent conflicts in Eastern Europe have increasingly shifted into urban areas, emergency service providers and healthcare workers have become more vulnerable to indirect threats such as shrapnel, stray fire, and blast fragments. This contract reflects Estonia’s proactive step in ensuring that its frontline medical teams remain protected while continuing their critical mission of saving lives under high-risk conditions.
“At MKU, we recognize that the role of body armour today extends beyond soldiers and law enforcement. Healthcare workers and first responders are often at the forefront of crises, operating in environments where personal protection is vital. By equipping Estonia’s medical professionals with NIJ Level IIIA ballistic vests, we are empowering them with safety and confidence to perform their duties without compromise”, quoted Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Managing Director at MKU
The Kavro ballistic vests to be supplied under this contract combine lightweight comfort with proven ballistic protection against common handgun and fragmentation threats, making them suited for emergency responders who require both mobility and survivability.
Over the years, we have built strong partnerships with armed forces and law enforcement agencies across 230+ forces in more than 100 countries. With this win, we further strengthen our footprint in Europe and reaffirm our position as a trusted and reliable global partner in protection. We take pride in the fact that our solutions, designed and developed in India, are safeguarding not just armed forces and law enforcement agencies, but also critical civilian sectors such as healthcare.
