Rajnath Singh Meets Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on the sidelines of the 21st session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military and Military Technical Cooperation (IRIGC-M&MTC). The meeting highlighted the enduring strength and future potential of India-Russia defence ties.

During the discussion, Rajnath Singh conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to President Putin. The two leaders reviewed various aspects of bilateral defence cooperation, emphasizing that the partnership between India and Russia continues to hold immense promise. They expressed optimism that combined efforts would lead to remarkable outcomes.

During the meeting, Rajnath Singh said “Friendship between our countries is higher than the highest mountain and deeper than the deepest ocean.” India has always stood by its Russian friends and will continue to do so in future, he added.
